Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students is a scholarship provided by the UGC. It aims to offer financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections of the society who wish to pursue M.Phil or Ph.D. The tentative application period commences from the month of January. The application process is entirely online and the form can be accessed from UGC’s official website.

Eligibility/Qualifications
The candidate must belong to minority communities that include Sikhs, Parsi, Jain, Muslim, and Christian. Moreover, the candidate must have cleared CSIR-NET/ NTA-UGC-NET examination and be registered in the Ph.D. or M.Phil course as full time- regular student. The annual family income of the candidate from all sources must not be more than INR 6,00,000.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will be awarded a stipend up to INR 28,000 for the duration of the course. Other benefits will be provided as well.
