Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka
QB365 Provides the information about Karnataka scholarship aims at encouraging and providing financial assistance to the students of the minority community of the state to allow them to continue studies at post-matriculation level. Applicable mainly for students of communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains, the scholarship tends to cover the admission fee, maintenance allowance and tuition fee. Students studying in class 11th to PhD level are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility/Qualifications
This Karnataka scholarship scheme is meant for students of Karnataka who belong to SC/ST category to allow them to pursue their masters and PhD level of studies abroad. Functional under the Social Welfare Department of Government of Karnataka, the scheme offers up to 100% financial assistance to selected students for their studies abroad.
Only minority community students can apply.
The students of class 11th to PhD level can apply.
The marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination should be 50% or above.
The annual family income should be more than INR 2 Lakh.
The students pursuing studies through correspondence or certificate/training level courses cannot apply.
The students belonging to other states who are studying in Karnataka cannot apply.
