Maharashi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha B.Ed. College for Women

Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha rural areas certain families are underprivileged and conservative. They are not aware of importance of modern education. Also, they cannot afford to send their daughters away from home for higher and quality education. Promising and intelligent students are taken care of consequentially, however for others campus proves beneficial.

A well wisher and Ex-President Shri Manohar Bhat has donated 5 ½ acres of land and ancestors house situated at Shirgaon, Ratnagiri to Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha , the development of educational institutes. MKSSS decided to impart modern, higher professional and vocational education under its branch at Ratnagiri on this site.  The parents who cannot afford the expenses of higher education of their wards due to financial and other problems are benefited with this project.
